How Matching Works
Step 1: You Submit Your Business Information
During onboarding, you tell us:
- Your industry (e.g., “Mortgage Broker”)
- Your location (e.g., “Oakville, Ontario”)
- Your ideal referral partners (e.g., “Realtors, Financial Advisors, Lawyers”)
Step 2: We Check Industry Slot Availability
Our matching algorithm checks:
- Is your industry slot available in an existing group in your area?
- Can we form a new group with your industry as the anchor?
Step 3: You’re Matched or Waitlisted
If your slot is available:
You’re matched within 7 days
Billing starts when you’re networking
If your slot is taken:
⏳ You’re added to the waitlist
⏳ You don’t pay until a slot opens
⏳ We notify you when a group becomes available
What Happens If Someone Else Applies After You?
Once you’re matched, your industry slot is protected.
- Another mortgage broker applies in your area? They’re waitlisted.
- Your position is secure as long as you remain an active member.
- If you cancel, your slot opens for the next person on the waitlist.
Your territory is protected by the platform.

What if someone in my group changes their business model and competes with me?
This is a violation of the industry exclusivity guarantee.
If a member pivots their business into your protected territory:
- You report the conflict to our support team
- We investigate and mediate
- If confirmed, the conflicting member must either:
- Exit the group and join a different one
- Or revert to their original industry category
Your exclusivity is contractually protected.
Can I be in multiple groups?
No. Each member belongs to one group to ensure focused, meaningful relationships.
We’ve found that members who spread themselves across multiple groups dilute their engagement and get fewer referrals. By focusing on one group of 10-30 professionals, you build deeper trust and stronger reciprocity.
