Our Story

My wife’s a serial entrepreneur , daycare, photography business, clinical counselling practice. Watching her join networking groups, I saw the same pattern repeat.

Her meeting day was Wednesdays. Up at 5:30am for the breakfast meeting. 30-minute drive, 90-minute meeting, 30-minute drive back. 3 hours gone.

Still wasn’t enough for the chapter’s scoring. One Saturday morning she missed our son’s soccer game for a leadership team event. She’d come home exhausted. Frustrated. The referrals? Inconsistent at best.

When she had to miss a meeting, she’d send me to avoid the penalty. What I saw: only a third of the meeting was about the actual business owners. The rest? Chapter work, admin overhead, recruiting visitors.

The Breaking Point

Wednesday morning, 2023. My wife looked at me over breakfast:

“I’m spending more time promoting the chapter than I am promoting my business. And I’m not even getting good referrals from it.”
